ELKO BAND - Amber Deanna Bounds, of Elko, pleaded guilty in Federal district court to the misdemeanor charge of assault by striking, beating, or wounding.
Bounds was charged for assaulting her victim in an incident that occured in October 2008 at the Elko Band Indian Colony. Bounds was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Valerie P. Cooke to three years probation with the further stipulation that she is not "possess a firearm, ammunition, destructive device or any other dangerous weapon."
