BIA Misses Notification Step in Claims Procedure

     TEMOAK TRIBE - It is being reported that the Bureau of Indian Affairs has missed a notification step in the Western Shoshone claims procedure.

Terry Jones Jr. Federal Case Dismissed

     ELKO BAND - The Elko Band Council approved awarding Council member Davis Gonzales a $200 council member bonus and a $500 Christmas bonus despite Gonzales currently having a lawsuit against Elko Band Council.

     ELKO - The Houston Chronicle has the article Ohio man working on gas pipeline killed in Nevada that begins Nevada authorities say a worker was killed while working on a section of the Ruby Pipeline that will carry natural gas from Wyoming to Oregon.

Council Approves Community Bonus

     ELKO BAND - The Elko Band Council approved the community Christmas bonus and members can contact the Elko Band administration office for the schedule of the check release which begins Monday, Dec. 13.
