TEMOAK TRIBE - At the beginning of July, the Te-Moak Tribal Council extended the appointment for Judge Bill Kockenmeister so the Bureau of Indian Affairs can begin the process of finding applications for the position of judge for the Tribe.
The question now is, will the BIA ever post the position for the judge.
At the website USA Jobs, the "US Government's official site for jobs and hiring information," there is no job announcement for the position of judge. Also, it has be reported that there is no job announcement for the position of judge at the tribe or band offices.
With half of extended time of appointment lapsed, the BIA will have to act fast to fill the judge position.
