NEVADA - The Overland Transmission Line is a project that will deliver power to southern Nevada by way of a transmission line through northern Nevada.
Great Basin Transmission, LLC is developing the Southwest Intertie Project (“SWIP”), a 500 kV AC transmission line stretching between Idaho and southern Nevada. The 500+ mile line is being developed in response to the growing needs of the Desert Southwest and the Northwest.
