ELKO BAND - It is being reported that the Elko Band Council is working on rules that would regulate how Elko Band would handle members who request to live on the Elko Band Indian colony when on State parole or probation.
Currently, members of Elko Band who want to live on the colony while on parole and probation have to request the band council to allow the State Parole and Probation department to enter the reservation to check on the parolee or probationer.
