Journalist Lynda Powless has been arrested, sued and had her office filled with bullet holes

CANADA - The Hamilton Spectator has the article Journalist Lynda Powless has been arrested, sued and had her office filled with bullet holes with the excerpt "Of all the criticisms she's encountered, however, it's the anger from residents that's had the most lasting residue. And that's ironic because she started the paper because as she said: "People on the reserve had no clue what was going on in their own community."  What she discovered, however, was that some don't take kindly to their stories being told publicly."
