TEMOAK TRIBE - The application date for the Western Shoshone Claims Distribution has been set for August 2.
Applications must be sent to Bureau of Indian Affairs Western Shoshone, Tribal Government Services, P.O. Box 3838, Phoenix, AZ 85030–3838 and applications must be received by close of business (5 p.m. Mountain Time) August 2, 2010.
The applications will determine if an individual is eligible to recieve the judgment funds. To be eligible for the judgment funds, an individual must have at least 1⁄4 degree of Western Shoshone blood; be living on July 7, 2004, be a citizen of the United States, and not recieved a previous land claim per capita payment.
