Potter Federal Trial Rescheduled

     TEMOAK TRIBE - The US federal court has rescheduled the hearing for Vivian Marie Potter to an earlier date.
     As previously reported, Potter was indicted for a charge of misdemeanor assault resulting in serious bodily for an incident that took place in January on the Elko Indian colony.  Potter pleaded not guilty to the charge.
     The trial has been advanced to November 22, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. before Judge Larry R. Hicks in Courtroom No. 5 at the federal courthouse in Reno.

     The charge listed above does not imply guilt.  Everyone is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court of law.
