Breaking News - BIA Posts New Update on Application Process

     TEMOAK TRIBE - The Bureau of Indian Affairs posted a new update on its Western Shoshone claims distribution website about the company that is processing claims applications.
     The contract the BIA has with Native American Industrial Distributors, Inc. (NAID), the company contracted by the BIA to work on processing applications at the Western Region offices, will expire on September 17.  The BIA is currently working on the solicitation of a new contract under full and open competition.
     The update assures applicants that beginning September 13, the BIA staff will continue the review of applications for eligibility to ensure that there is no break in the application review process.
