Te-Moak council to hold exclusion meeting

Te-Moak- The Te-Moak council will hold an exclusion meeting for a resident of Battle mountain band.
According to the Davis Gonzales-led tribal council, Ruth Burton is a menace to the Battle Mountain community.  Her hearing is on May 19 at 5p by order of resolution #9.  But sex offenders still find safety on tribal lands and on councils.

Seriously? so true sex offenders AND felons are protected with special rights on Te-Moak councils and lands. Is anyone surprised? Is the Te-Moak council in any moral or ethical position to judge anyone? I think not. Te-Moak Council has no back-bone. It's okay to allow convicted FELONS who steal from tribal organizations to sit on the councils. Why don't they enforce the removal of Dallas Smales from the reservation lands. There's a menace. Yet they allow her to sit on the band council to administer laws and making decisions for the use of federal funds? Why don't they banish the recycled band and tribal employees who are embezzling and juggling federal funds? Why do they keep getting re-hired knowing their history? Te-Moak needs to be investigated period. If other tribes can do it, why can't Te-Moak? What about the theft of gas caught on camera in South Fork? Theft is theft. Yet they sit in positions of so-called authority. Before the Tribal Council excludes anyone they need to look in the mirror.

On the Te-Moak resolution what difference does it make if the lady is "non-indian" or indian? The exclusion ordinance should apply to all alleged "menaces" including tribally-enrolled habitual criminals and employees who steal from programs.

Besides the sex offenders, Te-Moak needs to exclude the little Elko wannabe "Gangstas" and the meth manufacturers, sellers and users. Kick them all out of their government houses. I wonder how many illegals and illegal guns there are on the colony. That would be promoting the social welfare of the tribal members.

The reason that the sex offenders and the like are still there and no one seems to mind? This bunch(most of them anyhow) in power need the votes for next time cause that is what life time politicians do. You do this and I will do that. Helps a certain chairmans relatives that are pretty much mexican be enrolled in this tribe. Because It doesn't pay to make waves. You don't want to rock the gravy trail cause their friend and family has grown real comfortable in the lifestyle of the want to be rich and famous.

On the comment on a so-called tribal member: This young person shouldn't be allowed to live or buy a trailer he is now residing in. Too much mex blood. No one says anything, because he is the Chair's nephew. How much these people get away w/just because they are related to the Chairman. This should not be allowed, period. Yes, I agree, Te-Moak Tribe should be investigated. Been going on too long. Time to do something, people. South Fork council is a joke in itself. Mrs. Smales, where did she pop out from? Her & the Chairwoman are friends, I assume. That's why she's sitting on the Council. Wonder if the Chairman signed off on that letter to have her step down? He's a chicken---. It is obvious he doesn't want to make waves, in fear he won't get any votes nxt year. We need a Chairman who is strong, intelligent., etc...the list goes on.

Anyone hear how this went? Oh I forgot its all a big secret. Not sure if they even have an exclusion ordinance or do you have to have those these days? Don't think you do. Council can just get rid of who and what they want.

No, we haven't heard anything more on the signature of this so-called Chairman re: Dallas. This council sucks...Chairman Gonzales should be charged with perjury with all the lies he tells the people. With his said, everyone have a nice Memorial Week-end....
