     WELLS BAND - Vegas Inc. has the article The Notes: July 16, 2012 that reports "The Wells Band of the Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone Indians of Nevada will receive $52,800 to conduct a financial and market feasibility study and business plan for a Holiday Inn Express on tribal land."

Band Council's Water Protests Posted Online

     WELLS BAND - The Nevada Division of Water Resources has posted online the protests of the Wells Band Council against the Southern Nevada Water Authority's applications for the Snake Valley underground water basin.

Tribal Sex Offenders Report Update

     TEMOAK TRIBE - With the Te-Moak Tribe being granted the SORNA extension and lacking any tribal laws covering sex offenders, the tracking of sex offenders within the reservation is left to tribal members.

Wells Band Hires New Administrator

     WELLS BAND – The Wells Band Council has hired a new band administrator. Jackie Mcdonald replaces Melissa Franco who resigned the position earlier this month.

Wells Band Awarded ICDBG Funds

     WELLS BAND – The Wells Band was awarded $605,000 in Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) Program funds. The award funding is for the project of a community building at the Wells Indian Colony.
